Ingredients of Strawberry Blueberry Smoothie

Strawberries and Blueberries: Either you can use fresh or frozen strawberries and blueberries. Both of them will work but the frozen one is more tastier and delicious. If you buy them from a grocery store, remember to check them as if they contain any added sugar.
Skim Milk: This particular type of milk is the preferred one as they are free from fats, lactose and chocolate. But if you like to use other types of milk, like whole milk or plant based almond milk, you can use them too.
Greek Vanilla Yogurt: The reason for using this yogurt is to add the thickness of the smoothie. You can also use the plain yogurt as well and if you do so you need to add vanilla extract.
Honey: This is optional as this is to make the smoothie more sweeter. If you don’t like the sweetness, you can opt it out as well.

Directions
For this smoothie you definitely need a blender for blending. Please see the recipe card section at the end of this post for the exact ingredients with its measurements.
Step 1
Take a blender and put all the chopped frozen strawberries and blueberries inside the jar of it.
Step 2
Add yogurt , milk and honey all together. Blend until all the ingredients mix well to form a smooth texture.
Step 3
Remove the smoothie mixture from the blender and transfer into a glass and serve it.

- 1 cup frozen strawberries
- ½ cup blueberries
- ½ cup skim milk
- 6 ounces ounces non fat vanilla yogurt
- 1 tbsp honey
Notes
- You can either use fresh or frozen strawberries and blueberries.
- Instead of greek vanilla yogurt, you can use plain yogurt. If, then you can add 1/2 tbsp vanilla extract.
- Honey is used for sweetening the smoothie, you may opt out using it.
- As for milk you can also used plant based like almond milk.
- This is best when consumed as a breakfast treat and before the meals.
